Take an EVEN BIgger Part in Democracy...

One of the primary reasons people are interested in joining the League of Women Voters is to help activate their communities to take part in democracy.  The most basic right we have it the right to vote and we at the League want to be sure we do all we can to support active voter participation.

Many of our members are certified as voter registrars.  If you would like to join our efforts, become a voter registrar.

This year, LWVGE Registrars were on COD campus. We had a great day at COD on Friday 2/16/18. With the student enthusiasm, help from Cheryl at the Info desk and of course the Paralegal club and SLC (Marc especially) it resulted in our LWV volunteers educating many and registering 15 people to vote.
Thanks to April Sedall, Rita. Doyle, Gail Bernstein, Kristin Malone, Carrie Burrows, Sonja Faulkner and Peggy McGrath for joining for a shift at our table!

The League is very grateful to Student Leadership Council at COD for the valuable assistance they provided in promoting and facilitating the event.
