Margaret DeLaRosa Sworn in as State Representative District 42

Congratulations to LWVGE member, Margaret DeLaRosa, who has been sworn in as State Representative for District 42! She will be filling out the term vacated by LWVGE member, Terra Costa Howard. Ms. Costa Howard was recently appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court as a Resident Circuit Judge in the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit (DuPage County) to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Paul Fullerton.

In accordance with 10 ILCS 5/25‑6, Margaret DeLaRosa was appointed by the Representative Committee for House District 42—composed of DPDC Chair Reid McCollum, Dyan Page, Chair of the York Township Democratic Organization and Dennis Terdy, former Chair of the Democratic Party of Milton Township.
