Take an EVEN BIgger Part in Democracy...

One of the primary reasons people are interested in joining the League of Women Voters is to help activate their communities to take part in democracy.  The most basic right we have it the right to vote and we at the League want to be sure we do all we can to support active voter participation.

Many of our members are certified as voter registrars.  If you would like to join our efforts, become a voter registrar.

The terms for LWV volunteer registrars to serve will expire Nov. 30.  After that, we will work on  efficiently re-registering anyone who wants to continue serving. Several more members have expressed interest in becoming new registrars.  Julie Nolan has volunteered to take on the task of working with the DuPage Election Commission to see that the training and renewing takes place in a timely manner.
