Update: LWVGE is Marching in the Fourth of July Parade

After a cordial and informative discussion between representatives from the League of Women Voters of Glen Ellyn (“LWVGE” or “League”) and the Glen Ellyn Fourth of July Parade Committee (“Committee”), the League and the Committee agree that the source of misbehavior claimed during last year’s parade was regretfully misidentified as a LWVGE member. As a result, the League will, once again, proudly participate in this year’s Fourth of July Parade. 

Both the LWVGE and the Committee are composed entirely of devoted volunteers who invest their time and energy to enrich the Glen Ellyn community. The Fourth of July Parade, which represents the culmination of six months of meticulous planning, is a celebration of that community and the Committee is always in search of volunteers.
