Topic: Immigration Enforcement

Join us for the next Defend Democracy Drop-In,  Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 11:00 am - 12 pm at the Glen Ellyn Library.  This month we will be focusing on calls for a Congressional investigation into recent federal immigration enforcement activities that resulted in the use of deadly force. We will hear about the League of Women Voters partnership with civil rights organizations to call for more oversight, adherence to the Constitution and public accountability. Please bring your phone, and a tablet/computer.
Note: in an effort to be more green, handouts will not be available at the meeting.
